Personal information is collected directly from you when you interact with the London Music Fund, for example signing up to a campaign action, enquiring about an event, participating in an event, volunteering or making a donation. We collect this information in order to process your requests and to also keep in touch with you about the London Music Fund’s work. Examples include:
to provide you with services, products or information you have requested like regular updates on the progress of a Scholar that you might be supporting;
to process donations or other payments and verify financial transactions;
to process Gift Aid donations;
to send fundraising appeals;
to invite you to participate in campaigns or attend events;
to record any contact we have with you to help us ensure we provide you with the most appropriate communications;
to notify you of changes to our policies;
to check on your preferences from time to time to ensure they are up to date;
to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.
We will not share or sell your data to any third party, and all data is help on a password protected database only accessible to London Music Fund key staff.
How long we will you keep your information
We will retain your information for as long as you have an active relationship with the London Music Fund. If you cease to have an active relationship with us or request to receive no further contact, we will retain some basic information in order to avoid sending you unwanted materials in the future, and to ensure that we don’t accidentally duplicate information.
