Pianist Sasha Grynyuk joins the London Music Fund as Ambassador
We are delighted to announce Ukrainian concert pianist Sasha Grynyuk as our newest ambassador. Sasha is an internationally acclaimed concert pianist who has won numerous competitions, prizes and awards across the globe.
We are incredibly proud to have such a star-studded group of professional musicians as ambassadors who not only promote our work, but play a significant role as inspiring role models for the young musicians we support. Our Scholars are often given the chance to meet, perform alongside, and learn from these world-class musicians; these experiences have a profound impact on our young musicians, both musically and more broadly.
We are thrilled that Sasha will be performing at our upcoming Fundraising Concert at 22 Mansfield Street on Thursday 20 October 2022. Sasha will perform alongside Scholar Alex, a remarkable 11-year-old cellist from the Tri-Borough Music Hub who we have supported since 2019 and who achieved a distinction for his Grade 8 Cello in 2021.
Sasha Grynyuk said: “For children who come from difficult circumstances, music is not just an extracurricular activity. Music becomes a life changing experience that feeds their self-confidence and ultimately their life aspirations. It is an honour to support the organisation devoted to giving this opportunity to as many such children as possible.”
London Music Fund CEO Chrissy Kinsella said: “We are delighted to welcome Sasha to our list of Ambassadors. We share a vision of enabling every child to access a high-quality music education, regardless of their background, and I am sure he will be an inspiration to our young musicians.”
