The Role
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Programmes Manager, with occasional reporting to the CEO.
Hours: Two days a week (14 hours), one of which must be Monday. Small amount of overtime during busy periods. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
Salary: £24,000 per year, pro rata (£9,600 for two days per week).
Place of Work: 169 Union Street, London, SE1 0LL.
Holiday: 13.2 days, including annual bank holiday allowance.
Start Date: ASAP in September.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
About the Post
The London Music Fund is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work two days a week with our small and dedicated team of three. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to develop a range of skills and gain experience in arts administration. The post holder will work closely with the Programmes Manager to support the charity’s day-to-day administration and programme delivery.
The successful candidate will be passionate about helping children and young people fulfil their potential through music. You will be a confident communicator, able to work well in a small team using your own initiative, have a strong attention to detail, be well organised, flexible, and able to maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Description of Activities
To provide support to the small team with day-to-day operations. This will include general office support, administration of our programmes, assistance at events, support with development and communications, and other activities to promote the work of the organisation.
